Answer #1

Ans- These three tips are important in the work field because in our work we meet different kinds of people with whom we communicate every time sharing some important things related to work and we need to communicate them by combining both verbal and non verbal communication. While verbal communication is related to face to face conversation, conversation through writing, non verbal communication uses gestures, facial expressions to convey messages. when we communicate face to face we can create good relationships with our colleagues, by writing a formal message over email we can convey messages to a lot many people at one time. When we give happy facial expression then the other person can know that we are happy with any decision which has been made. Also listening is very much important than hearing as in hearing we just know something is being said but when we listen with full attention then we know the purpose of those messages which are being said and it helps in our work as we know what is to be done and what is not to be done in a particular work or any guideline which has to be followed. Asking questions helps in clearing our doubt if any so that when we work we can do what has been exactly wanted from us and also it shows that the listener was actively listening and it puts a good impression in front of others.

I had an experience where all the three tips were being used and this experience was during my college days when i along with my group members had to give a seminar before everyone and for that we needed to prepare ahead of time and so we started discussing things over text messages when we were at our own home, through face to face discussions when we were at college, and through facial expressions showing our teacher that we were happy doing this. Also when our teacher explained anything about seminar we used to listen it carefully and noted down the important things which were being said and also we would ask questions if we had any doubt so that everything goes in a good way and in this way our teacher also liked us very much for being so attentive to his sayings and pointing out questions so that he may clear our doubt and because of which our seminar went very well and our teacher appreciated us for our hard work.
