At α = 0.10 level of significance, test the claim that different schools have different mean of math scores on this contest by using the data in table 1. Use non-statistical terminology to state your final conclusion.

Here we need to compare more than two population means so one way ANOVA will be used.

Hypotheses are:

H0: The different schools do not have different mean of math scores.

Ha: The different schools have different mean of math scores.

Following is the output of one way ANOVA:

The p-value is 0.9563

Since p-value is greater than 0.10 so we fail to reject the null hypothesis.

That is we cannot conclude that different schools have different mean of math scores.
