Autosomal disorder sex linked disorder
Disorder is related to autosome rather than sex chromosme Disorder linked to sex chromosme
there are two types Autosomal dominant and recessive also two type sex linked dominant and recessive
for autosomal dominant disorder one autosome should be in sex linked dominant If one dominant mutated in case of both males and females gene is present than the male and female both are affected
In autosmoal recessive both the genes should be mutated . In sex linked recessive the male is affected when a single recessive gene is present in the X chromosome.
In females two copies of mutated genes should be present for expression of disease.

can someone explain how a is sex-linked and c is autosomal. also, need help with e please. Your hobby is breeding fancy guinea pigs for people who like that sort of thing. You set up a cross in which the parents are true-breeding and have phenotypes as follows: the father has black fur and a long tail, and the mother has white fur and is tailless. They produce offspring in which all the males are white and have long tails...

If individual IV-1 from the first pedigree marries an affected woman, what is the probability that their first child is affected by the disorder? c. (Molecular Biology) What is the functional difference between the major and minor grooves of DNA - and which one does protein bind to in a sequencing specific manor and how is it able to do this ALSO Name and briefly describe a specific protein(for example, SONIC HEDGEHOG (SSH)) that binds in the major groove.
The topic of sex testing is closely linked to the tensions between femininity and athleticism we covered last week. How is sex/gender testing a result of the tensions between femininity and athleticism? Why have athletes competing in men's sporting events not had to undergo the same scrutiny of their sex as those competing in women's sporting events? What is the impact of such testing on women athletes?
