Suppose you are studying the conformation of a monomeric protein that has an unusually high proportion of aromatic acid residues. Compared with a protein of a similar number of amino acids but few aromatic amino acids, would you expect to find fever or more alpha-helices in the protein with a high proportion of aromatic amino acids? Explain.

No, the aromatic amino acids like phenylalanine, tryptophan, tyrosine are more preferable to form beta- strand conformation. When it is compared with protein that contains lesser numbers of aromatic amino acids, then they will contain the conformation of alpha helix.So, the difference in the amino acids results into the difference in the ability to form secondary structures.
