Using Dodge-Romig plans for AOQL of 3% ,determine the probability of acceptance if the process average defective is 0.01% and the lot size is 8200 and the proportion of defective is 1%"

Using Dodge-Romig Table for the process average defective is 0.01% and Lot Size = 8200, AOQL = 3% Sample size would be 28

Average Outgoing Quality or AOQ = [Pa*P*(N-n)]/N

Or, 0.03=[Pa*0.01*(8200-28)]/8200

Or, 0.03*8200 = Pa*81.72

Or, Pa = 3.01

Here, Pa = Probability of Acceptance, P = Incoming Proportion of defective, N = Lot Size, n = Sample Size,

Hence, Probability of Acceptance = 3.01
