There has been trend in increasing diversity in healthcare industry. as we know that we find people from different background and culture in hospitals like nurses from different culture, doctors from different religion , patients who comes from different background etc. all those makes up diversity.

Recruitment and selection should be fair and non discriminatory-
The first point of every workforce in a healthcare organization when they applied for job. so Hospital must be fair and does not involve discriminatory practices to hire or fire workforce from hospital.
for example- An HR of hospital must not ask questions like color, race, marital status, age, gender, sexual orientation to hire a nurse or physician or administration staff in hospital.
Try to focus on skills, qualities and job related things.
Establish Code of ethics and business-
Having a code of ethics and business is very important practice. a Hospital which have ethical values like honesty, fairness, integrity,truthfulness, respect etc then such workplace tend to have respectful behavior for each other. such place neglect issues like color, race, gender etc and believe in humans are humans.
Provide diversity and inclusion training-
Hospital providing diversity training to workforce will help them to understand that how people and thier culture important.
