The task is to train existing employees in the organization so that they can deliver their work and responsibility as per the performance expectations. I have to do it in the capacity of HR manager in the organization in the present scenario. In this regard, I need a knowledge of different types of training and development methods, suitability of different methods in different scenarios and its effectiveness, depending upon the education and existing skill sets of the employees. The present course content, helps me to know about different training methods to be delivered via case studies, workshops and on the job training along with the development methods such as in basket exercise, leadership mentoring and others.  these methods are learnt with different approaches delivered in the classroom.

In the organization, the first step is to identify the skills gap available in the employees so that they are not able to do their jobs properly. In the second step, the identify the training needs that are to be fulfilled so that employees can become more competent. The third step is to select the best method and it is a workshop based training in my organization, where employees are to be trained to use one software application to work properly. In this method, employees will be given practical training on computers regarding how to use the application and deliver the task. The fourth step will be to evaluate the difference after the training program. The final step is to get the feedback. In the given scenario in my organization, the results came as very positive impact upon the employees and they became confident at work. It increased productivity level in the organization.
