Terrorism and Media

Before the relationship between terrorism and media,this is very crucial to know what is the purpose of terrorism. Then why terrorism attached to media?

Main purpose of terrorism is to spread fear for the sake of religion,country, culture, races etc. Terrorism wants attention of people all over the world so that they can give clarification about their religion. When terrorists can't beat a nation with mind money, army,knowledge. Then they adopt the way of terrorism. There are many other evils objectives there that any group spread terrorism like to release their counterparts from prisons,influence governments,destroy buildings,war against race,to disturbing the economy of other developed Nation.

Media is only the medium to reach out more and more people, so that they reach their evil schemas. Media work as tool to exchange the information. Especially Social media,which is primarily used to connect the people,entertain the people, is now used by terrorists for there evil assignments. Christchurch's attack on mosques to spread fear across the masses. Terrorists use this as a weapon to gain religion supermacy in any countries. The 09/11 attacked by Al-Quida was the worst attack for religion supermacy and to disturb economic stability of United States.

Now we are going to the scenario that if any terrorists attack occur in any part of country the Government first priority is to stop spreading of that from media. Government stop internet and other electronic media device so that situations remains undercontrol.

Why government do this? Because on that time media become power and energy for terrorism. In Sri Lanka where 253 People killed by terrorist attack at various Churches. The Sri Lankan government at once stops internet and Facebook so that more attacked could be stop.

Globalization and Media:

Media provide fast information about cultural diversities and values among nations,facilitates trade and economic relationship between foreign markets, used to further growth of media. So the function of media is mainly to technology transfer by opening business hubs in other countries. Media makes link with everyone. Media provides employment creation globally,help the people across the world to spread ideas and informations and products.
