Negotiations ensure that the organisation try to reach an agreement without allowing a strike to happens. Well panned tactics help to resolve strikes and become an agreement seeking process. Collective negotiations helps to improve labor relations ,however too many negotiations may also lead to strike that can hamper image of the firms.Certain new ways like interest based bargains ,mutual gain bargains can help. Distributive bargains leads to benefit for one side of the party and causes conflicts. Integrative bargains helps both the workers and management to gain but not always worker in the best possible way and over time productivity may get hamper. Therefore the time of negotiation varies from firm to firm and will have their own pros and cons depending upon the situation prevalent.
