Many times, business organizations face a crisis that was not expected. This means that the organization often fails to prepare itself for the crisis.
In such a crisis, the best way to lea the organization is situational leadership. Situational leadership doesn't have a fixed style. Instead, it tries to adapt itself to face and conquer the challenges as and when they occur.
This helps in weighing the strength and weakness of the organization in facing the challenges and the leadership works upon these factors to come up with a strategy which would help the organization in facing the crisis and coming successful out of it. Also, by understanding the internal factors contributing to the organization, the leadership styles help in the proper allocation of resources in times of crisis to fight the threats and challenges being faced by the company.
