Justify the importance of aligning training with organizational strategy.
Evaluate theories associated with learning, motivation, and employee performance.

Assuming we have to start a small fast food joint. Before, starting with the business it is important to figure out key factors which are required for starting that business. A well structured planning about all the functions of business is advisable.

Consultation training include all the areas of business which include,

  1. Manpower.
  2. Systems or Machine.
  3. Supplier.
  4. Location.
  5. IT system.
  6. Customer service.
  7. Research & development.
  8. Marketing.

These are considered to be important key elements of the business which is developed can be very beneficial for the growth of business.

Along with these owner of the business may face many challenges while addressing or improving above mentioned factors. Which are,

  1. Lack of skilled labour or labour not giving their full support during training period.
  2. Bottlenecks in machinery, out dated systems, absence of advanced machinery.
  3. Not finding the right supplier, delays, communication gap between the supplier and the owner, inconsistent supply.
  4. Poor location, less crowed, long distance from supplier.
  5. Outdated IT technology, security risk, records tracking.
  6. Lack of customer service means less customer satisfaction. It often acts as feedback.
  7. Not keeping pace with current changes and also continuous changing preferences of customers leads to failure of business.
  8. Presenting the business in front of customers through marketing is the most important factor. Lack of channels, less budget leads to failure.

Training basically helps someone to possess that quality or skill which is required to perform particular job. There are many organisations which are recently aligning training with organisational strategy. This is considered to be trends nowadays, as it saves time and money of organisation. Organisation is not required to invest separately for training and development. Also, using technologies while training ease the job of organisations. For example, gaps identified by organisations are filled while giving training and development.
