  1. Explain how nature and nurture interact in the development of alcoholism. Looking at your family history, is there any health issue you are at risk for? Both nature and nurture plays a role in the case of development of alcoholism. That is, one's family history may possess a genetic predisposition to it and Environmental factors such as peer groups and stress may contribute to the increased risk as well, out of many other significant factors. Based upon my family, there is not genetic predisposition and external factors which may be likely to contribute to the issue.
