Answer #1

Drinking while driving not only endangers the driver’s life but also those around him and their families too. Drinking impairs one’s senses and judgement. Safety is at risk and the possibility of traffic deaths increases. It is certainly not ethical to drink and be out of control behind the wheel. Drunk driving is highly irresponsible behaviour, once a life is lost it cannot be replaced no matter what. A person’s decision-making ability drastically comes down while drinking and he or she may not even be aware of their surroundings, driving in such a condition would be catastrophic and considered highly immoral to do so. Drunk driving can actually be compared to premeditated murder in case of an accident, because the person has crossed all the moral and ethical considerations and has indulged in dangerous behavior knowing there might be consequences to his or her actions.
