Describe the best, or worse, ad you have seen in the past year. Describe it and answer the following questions. Who is the main audience? What is the primary theme (approach) of the commercial. (You have a problem, this fixes it, or You will be more attractive if you buy this, you will be safer if you do this, you'll be healthier if you do this..) Is it effective? Why, or why not?

Advertisements become the most appreciated and beloved because of the creativity involved, appeals used (humour, emotional, fear, surprise, novelty, uniqueness etc). But last year i watched an audio- visual advertisement repeatedly that was exceptionally classic in its own way.

I am an Indian and quote an example of the best advertisement i feel- AIRTEL. The advertisement was intended towards the young customers. (They were the audience)

Airtel is a communication giant in India with the other competitors like Reliance, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL etc. The advertisement includes a young college girl travelling with her friends in the remote hilly region of North- East India. They all reach at the top of the hill and are stunned by the view. Everything is calm and there's a pin- drop silence.

They just check the mobile network. Only this girl (The main role in advertisement) is having network as her choice is AIRTEL. Finally she communicates that you choose the network of your choice but after having that experience you will undoubtedly have to shift to AIRTEL.

This suggestion to audience to choose any network and the confidence that the customer will eventually be returning to AIRTEL is very interesting. The advertisement concludes with 2-3 survey findings and awards to AIRTEL for the best connectivity in India.
