A year in the modern Gregorian Calendar consists of 365 days. In reality, the earth takes longer to rotate around the sun. To account for the difference in time, every 4 years, a leap year takes place. A leap year is when a year has 366 days: An extra day, February 29th. The requirements for a given year to be a leap year are: 1) The year must be divisible by 4 2) If the year is a century year (1700, 1800, etc.), the year must be evenly divisible by 400 Some example leap years are 1600, 1712, and 2016. Write a program that takes in a year and determines whether that year is a leap year. Ex: If the input is: 1712 the output is: 1712 - leap year Ex: If the input is: 1913 the output is: 1913 - not a leap year
Code:
year = int(input("Enter the year")) #asking user to enter the
year
if (year % 4) == 0: #if year is divisible by 4
if (year % 100) == 0: #check the year is century
if (year % 400) == 0: #if year is century check it is divisible by
400 or not
print(year," - leap year") #if yes it is a leap year
else:
print(year," - not a leap year")
else:
print(year," - leap year") #if year is not a century and divisible
by 4 is a leap year
else:
print(year," - not a leap year") #if year is not divisible by 4
then it is not a leap year

Write a program that accepts a year and determines whether the year is a leap year. Use the mod function. The output should be the variable extra_day, which should be 1 if the year is a leap year and 0 otherwise. The rules for determining leap years in the Gregorian calendar are as follows: All years evenly divisible by 400 are leap years. Years evenly divisible by 100 but not by 400 are not leap years. Years divisible by 4...

Complete task using python code
From definitions file:
month = ‘February’
year = 1200
Problem 2: Leap Years (2 Points) Your task is to write a program that takes in both a month and year (defined in the definitions file) and outputs the number of days for that month. It should take into account whether the year is a leap year or not. The resulting number of days in a given month/year combo is to be assigned to the variable...
Write a C# program that prints a calendar for a given year. Call this program calendar. The program prompts the user for two inputs: 1) The year for which you are generating the calendar. 2) The day of the week that January first is on, you will use the following notation to set the day of the week: 0 Sunday 1 Monday 2 Tuesday 3 Wednesday 4 Thursday 5 Friday 6 Saturday Your program should...
