Moving to university can bring many challenges in one's life as it is a transition from one phase of the life of a student to another. New people, new place, new academics and a whole new environment would not be easy to adjust with no matter how comfortable the surroundings are. Homesickness is one challenge that I may face in this transition period. With a new atmosphere and new people, home-focused thoughts may preoccupy my mind. This can lead to depression and anxiety. Increased academics pressure can lead to stress and lack of sleep. SOcial anxiety is another issue I can face as I am not very comfortable in meeting new people and making friends. Also as all of them will be equally new gelling up will be a challenge for each one. Such issues like depression, anxiety, stress, pressure are some I will have to face and fight when I move to university.

TO fight these challenges I will have to follow a number of steps main two being time management and social interaction. Tiem management will help me cope of with my stress academically. Setting appropriate time for studies, sleep and relaxation and following a disciplined routine can help me. For social interaction, I will have to open up to my classmates as well as the staff and management. Keeping a friendly attitude and opening up to people to start a conversation, eagerness to know things and being part of social groups can help me being more interactive and fight the pressure of social anxiety and homesickness.
