The body is made up of a group of materials. It is mainly composed of water, proteins, minerals and fats. These components are present in fixed quantities. They should be evaluated as an imbalance in the composition leads to various disorders.

Body fat is a major content of human body. It is stored in adipose cells in the form of lipids and is an important component. It helps in various functions of body. However an increase in low density lipids leads to risk of various disorders due to chances of vascular obstruction. It may lead to conditions like atherosclerosis which are life threatening. It can be evaluated by serum composition, physical index and local examinations along with angiography for vascular conditions.
