Describe the null and alternative hypothesis for the problem of showing that using a cellular telephone while driving increases the chances of a car accident. Ho: Ha: h) Do the data support the fact that using a cellular telephone while driving increases the chances of a car accident? Use a significance level a-0.07. Use both methods (p-value and the critical value approach) Write down the appropriate test statistic (check assumptions first) Write down the rejection region of your test.
