Answer #1

Employee is the pillar of any organization because he is the one that executes everything that is planned. He must be skilled enough to execute the methods developed. So his mental fortitude is very important. He must be motivated enough to do the work with conviction. He must feel the urge to complete the work, with a lot of passion. This is needed because if the employee is motivated, the effectiveness of the work improves and the hence it is beneficial to the organization itself. The employer must make the employee feel comfortable and the task must align with the interests of the employee so that the motivation is obtained. This motivation is the trigger to the success of the organisation.

Unsatisfied needs of an employee makes feel down and he could not work effectively, it is not like he does not want to, but he just could not. He feels that he lacks the rewards, he might feel that he does not get the deserved attention. This could lead to lackluster execution of the methods, and it will eventually hit the prospects of the organisation. For example, if an employee has to work round the clock for few days, he must be compensated, if not might feel that he is not rewarded sufficiently and he could not justify the time he lost during the work and the time he spent away from his family.

A leader can motivate his employee in a lot of ways.

1)He can set a well defined target and of reached, rewards will be given.

2)He can distribute prizes for the least time taken employee and this will cultivate healthy competition among employees.

3)He can make the employee understand the purpose of the work, make him feel that this is necessary for the organisation and he will get motivated.

4)He can make the employee understand how this particular project is useful for the society, how it revolutionises the market and it is a big chance to be a part of such a project.

5) Few employees want to improve their knowledge, the leader can use this fact. He has to make the employee believe that this project will make him learn very new technology involved in the market.
