First of all one has to know about what to speak and how to speak. It includes that before speaking one has to know about the topic on which the communication has to be done. The more information about the topic you will have, the more confidently you can communicate and keep your views regarding that. So first one has to be prepared and do home work about the topic of communication.

The second and most importantly is the observation, give the chance to the person to whom you are communicating with, review their thoughts and level of knowledge. Because a good communication means a beneficial for both the parties. This will give you more understanding about the level of communication.
