Protein shakes are low in fibre as compared to the plant proteins and lack the benefit of vitamins and antioxidants found in whole foods. a high protein snack provides much protein as a shake, it is cheaper and provides added benefits.

The average person needs 0.8- 1.0 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. using a protein supplement or protein shake can be beneficial depending on your individual goals and needs. protein shakes appeal to atheletes and dieters as an easy way to build muscle or lose weight.

benefits of protein shakes are:

• consuming protein in the morning with breakfast can help you stay fuller longer and provide lasting energy.
• shakes can also be a good way to gain weight after an illness
• helps to lose weight and belly fat
• they are convenient ( takes less time to prepare and makes you full)
• affordable

consequences of protein shakes

• high cholesterol- some protein drinks like fatty cuts of meat, whole dairy products -can raise cholesterol, increasing the chances of heart diseases
• kidney problems
• nutritional loss (it cannot be a full meal replacement. phytonutrients and antioxidants are not found in protein drinks)

The main target population is atheletes and body builders . young, male consumers are the target audience for most energy drinks

C.Yes, this product having both benefits and consequences for the target market population to consume. because it provides instant energy for them and helps in muscle development and also for longer energy. but it doesn't meet the full nutritional needs of a person. so this causes other nutritional deficiencies in the body other than protein. As per the individual needs it is beneficial.
