Answer: Being a nurse it is important to have a specific qualities that can bring many positive changes in the profession. Nursing is a life long learning profession. For being a better professional it is important to have leadership qualities. Leadership qualities includes:

• Effective communication
• Critical thinking skills
• Understanding
• Research focused
• Active
• Having ethic understanding
• Able to work in a team.

So, these qualities can bring better opportunity to provide quality of care to the patients. Working in a team requires effective communication skills. This will eliminate the risk of misunderstanding. Team work requires encouragement and empowering the team members. Team leader should listen to the members to understand their problems. Quick decision should be made in favour of patients.

Answer: Nursing is a life long learning profession. Nurse indulge themselves in providing quality of care to the patients. But nursing profession faces many challenges. Some of the challenges are:

• In the nursing profession, nurse has to undergo various exams to achieve better job.
• During the practice, the nurse suffers from burnout due to excessive workload.
• Less compensation are provided to the nurses as compared to the other professionals.
• There are always risk of workplace hazards.

To overcome with these problems it is important to focus on the nursing problems such as reducing the working hours time can provide relaxation to the nurses. Safe environment should be provided to the nurses.
