The contrast between mechanistic and organic organization are -

a) Mechanistic organization can be implemented to most of the organizational structure whereas organic organization can best applied to open business structures to make is more flexible.

b) Mechanistic organization follows the centralized authority and have high specialization whereas organic organization is very decentralized and have low specialization.

c) Rapid changes is very difficult in case of mechanistic organization whereas the organic organization is very adaptive and flexible to any changes at any time.

The management performs several activities under directing such as placing the methods for action so that they can help employees to achieve the organizational goals. It also takes care of the productivity of an organization and makes sure it is growing continuously.
