answer-

a- QFD is the method which was first introduced in japan in 1966. this method helps the business persons to convert the needs and requirements related to a product in a structured and technical format.By using this , business owners can quantify those needs and requirements and attributes required in a product to satisfy customer's needs.

for example- if a take a product say, Shampoo so, QFD will help to construct a House like structure where we can answer questions like-

what should be the customer's requirements present in a shampoo?

what are the technical requirements presented by the manufacturer?

what is competitor providing to customers with their shampoo product? etc.

b-Pareto analysis is the statistical tool that is disposal to manager which would help him to know which decision would have greater influence and which would have less influence to achieve overall objective.It is also known as 80/20 rule. This name has rationale that a person can achieve 80% benefits while doing only 20% of work.it helps in priortize the problems to managers which can be solved by effective changes done doing pareto analysis.

for example- 80% of the customer complaints ensue from 20% of the products or services delivered.
