1. American Society of Mechanical Engineers.(ASME) - Publishes and updates codes for piping design.

2. Center for Chemical Process Safety.(CCPS) - Publishes documents and guidelines related to process safety. Published guidelines for Facility Siting and layout.

3. Society of Piping Engineers and Designers. (SPED) - Promote excellence quality in the practice of Piping Engineers and design. Gives training and certification program for piping designers.
