Discuss Wittgenstein’s concept of family resemblance.

Wittgenstein invented language games and explained the rules of using the same. He also related all the activities we call games to family. He asked to note the repertoire of games, belonging to different categories based on which, they make use of board games using intellectual skills.

Some games can be played all alone, others require a whole team. The winning pattern also varies. He emphasized on looking on to the common element in these games. He explained the relation between them similar to that seen in family members.
