the combustion of pentane produces heat according to theequation:
C5H12(l) + 8O2(g) -->5CO2(g) + 6H2O(l)   ΔHrxn = -3,510kJ

Answer #1
5 mol CO2 ==> 3510 kJ of heat
44*5=220 g CO2 ==> 3510 kJ heat [Because molecularweight of CO2 is 44, which means each mol CO2 weighs 44 g]
1 kJ heat==> 220/3510 g CO2 = 0.06267 gCO2
2500 kJ heat==> 0.06267 * 2500 g CO2 =156.67 gCO2
