Answer #1

Answer: Recent studies and research shows that people in United States consumes more saturated fats when it is compared to unsaturated fats. Near about 80% population consumes saturated fat at present. The intake of saturated fat is more because people don't have much idea of difference between saturated and unsaturated fat. The consumptions beef meat, pizza, fried products are common. Although saturated fats taken in small quantities is not that much bad, but intake of it causes excessive increase in cholesterol level. If we talk about unsaturated fatty acids then it is considered to be a good fat which maintains the cholesterol levels which is also known as HDL.
