Hemodynamic monitoring is done by By introducing central venous catheter or arterial line for contineously monitoring of blood pressure in artery ,vein and also amount of oxygen in blood,by hemodynamic monitoring - low blood pressure may indicates hypovolemic shock.

Whereas low cardiac output and increased DVR( Systemic vascular resistance) may suggest cardiogenic shock.
