Dietary and lifestyle changes can be difficult to make, especially when you are not completely ready to accept your current disease process. Please list some diabetic resources within your community that would benefit your patients with diabetes.

Yes ,it's absolutely right that modifying dietary and lifestyle behaviour is very difficult especially when you are not completely ready to accept the disease condition .

In my community where I live we have a youths association which is made of a bunch of youths who work voluntarily to provide health education to the society in the community health centre . Here ,they provide us health education only for diabetes ,but also for other diseass . Voluntarrly health care workers come from hospital and provide health talks and teching every Saturday evening which helps the society to be aware of the diseases ,signs and symptoms . This helps to early diagnosis a situation and manage it timely . This association has a physician ,staff nurse and dietician and also a counselor . More focus is towards prevention and then curing . So, in my community all those who have diabetes have their regular checkups , dietary management , exercises etc regularly under the guidance of this health center .
