Yes diet having high cholesterol , with high LDL and VLDL, trans fat, saturated fats, high carb, including fast foods can lead to hypertension, atherosclerosis, Coronary heart disease in the majority of the the population. Hence it is advised to have low cholesterol, low calorie food with plenty of dietary fines with more unsaturated fats like Omega 3 fatty acids,s by the adequate physical activity.
