Mental/behavioral health concepts originated from many years ago, peoples are thinking that Mental health and behavioral health are the same things and same concept but it is wrong. Over time these 2 concepts are changed.

Mental health - it is defined as a state of wellbeing in which a person should free from all mental disorders, he/she should cope with the environment and stress and leads a productive life.

mental health is a combination of good physiological status, psychological status, and behavioral status.

Behavioral health - It is defined as the impact of behavior on health. Example - alcohol abuse is a bad behavioral habit which leads to many physical and mental disorder.

Diagnosis of mental health disorders

1. schizophrenia

2. OCD

3. Bipolar disorder

In the above disorders, there is the involvement of physiological status, psychological status, and behavioral status.

Diagnosis of Behavioural health disorders

1. Sex addiction

2. Substance abuse

Theses are purely behavioral disorders.
