Answer #1

There was a situation once when one student had several teaching needs like, he was not able to learn by listening and had spelling difficulty also.

So for this student with special learning needs following points we're planned

- To accept alternate form of information sharing like written report, Map, photo essay, demonstration.

- Provide a script of flim, teach parents how to make student practice it

-state objectives, provided a reason for listening.

- Use flash cards

-Have student close eyes and try to visualize the information

-Provide written as well as oral directions.

- provide vocabulary practice

- ask parents to take practice on spellings

Evaluation

The plan was partially successful as the student was attaintive for a longer period of time, blisening skills though not fully developed has improved a bit, most of the spelling were perfectly written and a lot of improvement was seen in that area

Pre plan

If the similar situation comes again I will try and make parents involvement the most important

- will provide written as well as oral directions

- give explanation in small distinct steps

- shorten listening to me required.

Learning

From this experience I learned that every situation or learning need of the student can be solved by proper efforts and parents involvement too. There is nothing impossible to teach any student. Educating family make the student learn more because she/he is with them most of the time.
