Hyperlipidemia is defined as the increase amount or the abnormal amount of lipids in blood, such as triglycerides cholestrol or fat and phospholipids that occur due to diet and lifestyle.

Among all the racial or ethical groups Asian Indians, Fillipinos and Hispanics are more prone to hyperlipidemia which are consistenrt with higher morality rate.Lifesytle modification has been recommended to treat hyperlipidemia , to reduce the risk both prior to and in addition to the use of lipid lowering agents.Life style risk factors include unhealthy diet, over weight and obesity, and physical inactivity.

Diet;- increase intake of vegetables, green leaffy vegetables, fruits,and whole grains and limit intake of sweets, reduce intake of saturated fat ,and trans fat.

Physical activity;- engage in aerobic physical activity i.e 40mins session per week, from moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity.

The communty resourses have to be regularly updated the outcomes of the services that provide for the healthy of the member, by giving regular visit to the health care center ,regular health check up of cholestrol and triglycerids level and  regulation of hyperlipidemia. with regular intake of medicines.
