Open wound can be seen on big toe
Outcome
Patients wound will be kept clean and free from further infection
Patient will understand the foot care after nurses demonstration and verbalisation to prevent future complications with diabetes
Interventions
Patients wound will be changed daily and proper hand hygiene will be performed before and after dressing change.
The nurse will verbalize and demonstrate the patient how to prevent future foot injury and how to take foot care to prevent complications of diabetis
