Exposure index in radiography is defined as the relative index of speed and sensitivity of digital receptor to the incident X-Rays and this is used to provide appropriate feed backs. Exposure on other hand is referred as concentration in air and radiation at a specific point. Exposure index is the measure of the single level of radiation produced by a detector during the exposure.
As defined exposure index does not indicate the dose of radiation to the patient but it helps in understanding the index of radiation that will be extracted during one linear exposure at a point. The exposure measures is dependent on exposure index as it will be equal to the index justified by the manufacturer.

Describe the relationship between dose, route, and duration of exposure to a health hazard and the effect this has on absorption and the possibility of adverse health risks.
The index of exposure to radioactive waste, x, and the cancer mortality rates, y, (deaths per 100,000) were recorded for nine different Oregon counties. Use the regression analysis provided below to perform the hypothesis test to determine if the index of exposure is useful as a predictor of cancer mortality rate. The regression equation is = 114.7156 + 9.231456x R-sq = 85.8% 9- 2 = 7 degrees of freedom Predictor Coef Constant 114.7156 Index of Exp 9.231456 SE(Coef) I 8.045663...
