Organizational culture are set of values , beliefs , perceptions in which a certain social and psychological set up is established and operated . It is a set of shared assumptions which guides the behaviour of people and build the environment within and subsequently it is a product of factors of product , history , strategy. . Organization culture includes the organization's vision, values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, environment . It is how people do things and it is unique for every company and it cant be copied .
It is difficult to change the culture as it is the way things are done in company and are deeply embedded in the system It is like a glue which integrates all the systems and processes in a company and it evolves over a period on time and therefore it is difficult to change habits and patterns in a single day . It is basically the leadership style based on certain beliefs .
For example : In japanese company , its culture is to keep the quality of product of high standards and they follow many techniques like kaisen , QC etc . It is the culture of Japanese companies to focus on quality of product and processes .
