Global prison system are almost common..U.S incarcerates many citizens than other countries..There is lot of factors associated with criminal activity includes less education,unemployment,poor socioeconomic background,lack of social support,and some psychological illness..
U.S prison system maintain more recidivism it will not rehabilitate American prisoners..Nordic prison system doing more job in reducing recidivism,establish educational service and rehabilitating the prisoners..Protecting the public is the major function even though they are in prison by more attention to prevent the offences and repeat..In U.S many private system operating primary function of the prison system,make profit and rehabilitation more successful..In U.S prison system construction fees,management salary,employee wages are high compared to rehabilitation and educational services..
In U.S prison system there is lack of drugs rehabilitation program,lack of funding,learning of criminal behavior with their peers when incarcerated..
U.S prison population increasing more than two million annually and encourages antisocial behavior due to poor deters crimes and ineffective rehabilitation program.
Comparing to U.S prison system Nordic country has more successful at deterring future criminal activity..
  Nordic Dutch prison system with less cost with more successful teaching to offenders to reduce the bad consequences..Their laws and policies vary from U.S prison system make more favorable outcome,rehabilitation and education to prisoners..It create more homely environment for the community and family support while they are in rehabilitation period in the prison..It has two category like open and closed prisons..closed prisons with more restrictions and open prison with more freedom and less security measures,they also has traditional nordic cell in main corridor which has all television and kitchen facility..Due to open system with freedom prisoners they utilize technology to find the prisoners location..It increase socializing behavior..prison guards carefully monitor they secure special training and with different working condition..

-Both U.S and Nordic system has political influences..
-Both U.S and Nordic system providing rehabilitation programs effectively..
-both system emerge in legislative priority..
-Both system avoiding reincarcerates by providing education and training..
Difference:
- U.S prison system provide higher level of education for prisoners than Nordic prison system..
- U.S prison system provides vocational occupations programs to decrease the recidivism,thus Nordic prison system provide more freedom and recreation activity for prisoners,it help offenders to locate and secure jobs when they release from prison..
-U.s prison system provide psychotherapy for psychological and substance abuse people..In each system to minimize punishment with individual lives,the community when they are in prison it increase education and training it reduce the recidivism and crimes..Rehabilitation philosophy will be more effective method to reduce the recidivism with cost effective and policy following to adopt the features in prison..U.s prison system should follow the Nordic system to decrease recidivism rates..
