1, Simulation help to evaluate patient response and outcomes. It provided teaching opportunity and it is a good strategy for our work. it provides an opportunity for interaction with no risk of the patient. It avoids fear and harm for the patient. it builds knowledge and management for the patient with their disease condition. using a high technology tool helps more in the stimulation process. the patient also enjoyed learning with active participation.
2, Assess the patient pain level and hydration level. Administer intravenous fluids to maintain fluid volume and administer nonopioid pain medication to relieve pain. Assess patient infection level with serum pancreatic enzyme level, administer antibiotics to prevent further complication and infection. Keep the patient in NPO and check the patient nutriion status and electrolyte level, administer TPN polymeric formula eternal nutrition to help meet the nutrition requirement and avoid infection and complication. administer proton pump inhibitors. check patient intake and output to evaluate the hydration status. Keep the patient nasogastric tube suctioning patent to avoid pain and abdomen distention.
3, priority assessment and action include maintaining nutrition status and administering TPN nutrition and evaluate the electrolyte status. providing adequate nutritional supplements important for the patient when the patient is in NPO.
4,- Identify the signs of shock like low urine output, clammy skin, and cool extremities.
- Administer IV fluids, antibiotics, and check blood test for culture to identity t the severity
-Monitor the vital signs and measure blood pressure
-administer vasopressor and corticosteroids to maintain blood pressure
-Assess patient condition every 4 to 6 hours.
