Diabetes mellitus is an endocrine disorder in which there is deficiency of insulin or insulin resistance resulting in elevated blood sugar levels in blood.

in diabetes insipidus, the is deficiency of antidiuretic hormone that results in micturition of dilute urine and excessive thirst.

gestational diabetes is the condition in which there is elevated blood sugar level for first time during pregnancy.

preventive methods:

  • incorporating physical activity in daily routine
  • weight control
  • quit smoking and alcohol
  • avoid taking refined sugar, simple carbohydrates, fatty, fried foods
  • Regular water drinking
  • High fibre intake
  • avoid taking stress
