DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TYPE 1 AND TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS :

If blood sugar is very high a patient with diabetes mellitus tend to urinate a lot and this results dehydration is occur. Dehydration is possible causes of weight loss. Muscle breakdown also occur. This also common cause of weight loss .

WHY INSULIN REQUIRED IN TYPE 1 DIABETES MELLITUS :

In caseof type 1 diabetes person pancreas can not make insulin .The body can still get glucose from food but the glucose can not get into the cells when it is need.

In type 2 diabetes fat, liver, muscle cells do not respond correctly to insulin this is insulin resistance.

HYPERSECRETION OF INSULIN OCCUR IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS :

In type 2 diabetes mellitus insulin resistance occur. This is one type of conditions where body does not respond to the effect of insulin .So insulin secretion occur .
