Hodgkin's disease

23.1) The abnormal growth of cancer cells in the lymphatic system us termed to be hodgkin's lymphoma or hodgkin's disease

23.2)The Reed sternberg cells are usually found in the lymphatic system which proliferates continuously affecting lymph nodes in the lymphatic system leading to symptoms.

23.3)The specific signs are

  • Weight loss
  • Fever
  • Lymph node enlargement can be found in the body parts
  • Urticaria
  • Increased perspiration in the night

23.4)The impact of chemotherapy on these patients are

  • Skin reactions are common
  • Loss of hair is common
  • It kills the lymphoma cells along with this type risk for destryhe normal cells are also possible.
