I NEED A RESPONSE TO THE DISCUSSION BELOW.

This class provided a lot of valuable information about women in all stages of life. I learned a lot of different options that women have for birth control and feminine care during menstruation. I found the discussions to be very informative, sharing experiences and opinions helps to for understanding each other and other women in our lives. The debate forums were especially enlightening to see other perspectives on sensitive subjects. This helps to have more empathy for each woman as an individual human being with her own needs and interests. It was also interesting to study with others in the background of nursing, medical fields or caretakers. I also learned more information about women's breast health, specifically the genetic markers of breast cancer. I did not realize that women without these genetic markers are actually more likely to develop breast cancer. Researching ways to reduce risk of cancer and disease validated lifestyle choices I have made as well as insight into how I can improve my health now. All of this new knowledge will be very useful as I continue to work as a body worker and therapist, as well as in my future studies.

I NEED A RESPONSE TO THE DISCUSSION BELOW. PART I It is beneficial for women in today's society to have such laws because it essentially helps ensure/protect the moms whom are breastfeeding their children. I am not a mother but I there are many babies within my family therefore I do know that it is extremely convenient for mothers to be able to breastfeed openly, so these laws are placed in order to provide mothers with consolation-to understand that she...

I need a reply to the discussion below. The ability to choose whether or not you would like to get pregnant is an important decision that should lie solely with the person or people being affected by the pregnancy. Considering this, I do believe that oral contraceptives should be available over the counter for women to purchase whenever they please or deem necessary for their lives. This is an empowering decision process for women and allows them the freedom to...

I need a response to the discussion below. Part 1: Women experience higher rates of abuse or intimate partner violence because of a long history of societal gender "roles" and "norms". Women were traditionally/historically looked at as homemakers who serve their male partner or husband. Men were traditionally considered to be the head of the household and women were to listen to them, even if they were being abusive. Women often did not speak out about being abused because they...
