1. The instructions which are given are:

* the side effect which causes the patient to have sleep driving which increases the patient risk of fatality and patient to be advised not to long drive when taking the medication

* the other behavioural changes to be told such as bizarre, agitation towards others.

* the laboratory test has to be done routinely in patients with renal and hepatic impairment

* instruct to take only the prescribed dose as over dose may increase the behavioural symptoms equal to alcohol

* the elderly patients to be instructed to refer the consultants for further dose and take it

* the withdrawal symptoms if person is addictive to be informed

2. The side effects include:

* double or blurred vision so he has to avoid driving

* dizziness which may cause injury to him

* easy bruising and bleeding to be informed

* rapid eyemovement and sudden unconsciousness

3. The instructions to the patients taking elavil are:

* clinical worsening and suicide risk as the depression increases in the person taking it so the patient must be instructed to report if he has felt such type of behaviour

* gently place the finger on the skin and pull the lower eyelid and squeeze a strip of gel into the lower lid keeping 5cms away and not touching the lid

* Place one finger at the corner of the eye in order to give pressure for 1 to 2 minutes to prevent tearing from eye

* the medication to be continued to have better benefits to the glaucoma.

* if the patients eyes are sensitive first the artificial tearing eye drops to be used and wait for 5minutes later instill the glucoma eye drops in order to prevent the over sensitiveness and tearing

* the eyes to be soothened to prevent the dryness
