You are a new environmental public health specialist in Dammam city. One day you take your car to a garage to get the oil changed. Inside the garage shop you can see unmarked chemical containers and no sign of safety or first aid equipment and you notice that the work space has lots of environmental health hazards. You realize that  you need to think through the steps for assessing and addressing this public health issue.

1. The environmental health problems present in the car garage are :- unmarked chemical containers, no signs of safety, no first aid equipment are there in the car garage,

2. As there are chemical containers with no mark or sign on them which can be confusing and are very dangerous for exposing to accidents due to absence of danger signs on the containers. This can lead to affecting of people with respiratory disorders like breathing difficulty, cough and skin infections problems, fire accidents, which affect the health of people. And if any accidents occur in the garage there is absence of first aid equipment to provide immediate treatment or dressings to the humans.

• Based on the duration of chemical exposure,it will have a wide range of biological effects ,as they are exposed to these exogenous elements,which puts them in susceptible position.
• Inhalation of these chemicals result in toxicity in haematopoietic organs.
• If inhaled to aromatic solvents it will slowly reduce the RBC and Hb level in blood.
• if the chemical inhaled is benzene or lead it could result in increase in systolic and diastolic blood pressure and could result in hypertension.
