please reply to this post and ask one question regarding this post:

Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) are health records kept in a provider’s clinic, a pharmacy and in hospitals. The benefits of EMR’s include improving coordination of care and It is also meant to be safer when it comes to breaches. The ethical framework of EMRs is utilitarianism, which encourages the most good for the most people. Since Doctors, pharmacies and other health care providers have access to it, they can save lives by seeing possible drug interactions and other medical concerns. The problem here is that the safety of EMR’s is not 100%. There can be leaked information and can cause chaos. I believe that nurses see the ethical concerns related to nursing informatics because of the way that information circulates in the systems. For example, in 2003 a hospital theft of computers with patient data brought on a public panic upon realizing that up to four million patients with data in their Advocate System may have had their data compromised. Although, it was hard for them to get into the system because of security codes this is an example of possible concerns associated with informatics (Amer, 2015).
