Answer- Nursing is a very difficult profession because there is lots of stress involved like moral stress and even professional stress.Moral distress is basically an emotion which is felt by the nurse when she does something ethically correct and it comes out differently then what was tasked to do. Moral stress is one of the problem that adversely affect the nurse, the patient and even the whole healthcare system. It takes a lot of effort to handle this stress. Moral distress is very predictable as when a nurse is told to do something professionally and she knows that there is involvement of ethics and moral in that work but she can't help it; such incidents makes the nurse to always doubt her ability and the nurse starts thinking that am I good enough? or how can I become a better nurse? so such questions create a lot of stress and disturbance in a nurse's life.Moral distress is one of the reason why many nurses are leaving their job and even profession because they are helpless in front of these ethical issues. So to deal with this problem the nurse should learn moral resilience which will help the nurse to deal with any ethical issues, and also encourage themselves to work even more instead of leaving their profession.
