A. They are both an initial supply of electrons for the series of redox reactions.

NADH is produced from NAD+(oxidised form) during the kreb cycle by picking up electron from glucose molecules. Then the reduced form NADH is used in cellular respiration to deliver electrons to the electron transport chain and to pump proton across the membrane and generate electrochemical gradient. And during photosynthesis water splits into oxygen and H+ by photolysis. And also water provide electrons to the photosystem to transport electron through the complexes and reduce the NADP to NADPH. Then, NADPH will be used in carbon fixation.
