Assignment
Locate and price parts for a gaming PC
Your goal is to find and price all of the components to build a complete, custom gaming PC from scratch.
You will need to select all of the components like case, motherboard, CPU, video card, RAM, keyboard, mouse, cooling system, cables, fans, etc. Ensure that you are selecting compatible parts.
Create a table of parts, provide: type of part, manufacturer, model number, quantity and price. Provide a total cost amount for all parts.
Next, create a detail page for each part. List the URL, a screenshot of the page - include description, and a detailed description of why you chose that specific part. Be sure to detail how the part is compatible with the other parts. For example, the motherboard form factor needs to match the case form factor. The CPU, RAM, video card, etc. need to be compatible with the motherboard and the motherboard needs to have enough slots for the components selected.
Be sure the PC meets or beats the minimum requirements for Fallout 76 and Battlefield 5.
Use a site like TigerDirect.com or NewEgg.com to find your parts. Sites like Ebay or Amazon are fine as well. You can use multiple sites to select your various parts.
Then Install a type 2 hypervisor on your computer and install an Ubuntu Desktop VM
This is a similar project as Hands-On Project 20-6 on page 987 of the book
Install VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org/) on your personal computer. You could use a different type 2 hyper visor but VirtualBox is open source (free).

Take screenshots of each major step: downloading each software package, installing VirtualBox, installing Ubuntu, and Ubuntu Desktop running
Be sure to label each screenshot and add any details to describe the process
