Summarize the concept of Empowerment as a development technique used by Managers in multinational organizations.

Answer:

Concept of Empowerment is regarded as Managerial techniques, which can further extract Individual’s Potential to perform a task within an Organization, again Employees of an Organization can be Empowered by providing them training and orientation program, help them to gain their skill and Expertise, help them to gain authority, share them opportunity to hone, and motivate them further for continuous contribution, keeping them responsible, accountable for the Result and their each actions, such will bring better recognition for their Employee

Further in Multinational Organization, managers use Concept of Empowerment as a development technique, such Empowerment can provide Individual an authority to act and perform, Individual can make them more involved in the task, further Employee gain more trust on the team and Organization, so they can take out full potential and contribute fully towards achieving the Organizational Objective,

In addition to this, organization can empower their Employee by below noted process:

  • By valuing, respecting Employees and by recognizing for their performance
  • By sharing Vision and Organizational strategic objective to all Employees
  • By holding trust on Each Employee and allow them to work flexible hours
  • By giving them power to make decision for any Organizational Task
  • By allowing them to share feedback for any Event
  • By giving them platform for brainstorming, Creating solution proposal,
  • By giving them Emotional support and showing stand by attitude
  • By arranging various certification and training program those related to the Job

Summarize which of the needs in Mc Clellands theory of motivation will be most dominating in a Leader and why.

There are total Three needs, first one is Need for Achievement, Second One is Need for Power and Third one is Need for Affiliation, Need for Power in Mc clellands theory of Motivation/Needs will be most dominating in a Leader,

As Need of power is nothing but a desire for an Individual or Leader who want to hold control and authority over another person, Further by this Need for Power Desire, Leader can Influence, Dominate other Team Members in an Organization, and they hold right to take decision and change decision for any activity, again Need for Power is such Desire which hold people as strong Leader and help them to take top position in an Organization,

Explain briefly all the three needs of McClelland’s theory.

As there are three Needs in the McClelland’s theory, Let me Explain each Need very briefly,

Need for Achievement:

Need for achievement gives people a desire to achieve something by performing for a task, let’s say Example, if an Individual got a task of painting, then he will contribute towards painting in such way, so he can get recognized for his performance, Every Organization set goal for their Employee, and Employee perform towards fulfilling the Organizational Strategic Goal or Fulfilling the Objective of Project,

So, people want to perform such task, and participate in such job, where they can feel that they can get some achievement, they can be recognized for their Performance, which further satisfy them and help them to be more dedicated for their future or Upcoming Job,

Need For Power:

Need for Power is such desire it brings dominating power in a leader, Individual get more control over their team members and they further hold authority over other people, Influence them and become Decision Maker or Decision changer for any activity, In such case people transfer to Leadership role and they gain self Esteem and reputation in an organization to drive organizational strategic Objective and drive other people in the Organization

Need for Affiliation:

Need for Affiliation gives people a desire to uplift Interpersonal skill and gain social relationship within an Organization and in such situation people think for getting affiliated for working freely within the organization, such create collaborative work culture and friendly work environment, so People who have need for affiliation can avoid further high risk situation and uncertainty within the organization,
